Dog Collar: Harris Tweed MacLeod (Green and Blue)

Bowzos' dog collars are handmade in Edinburgh with thought, love and attention to detail. This collar is made from MacLeod tartan (greens and blues) Harris Tweed fabric and backed with strong yet soft webbing to give you the unique style you love and the durability your dog needs.

The collar is triple stitched at all stress points to keep the durable, high-quality hardware in place, with a strong metal release buckle that is curved for maximum comfort and a gauge-welded D-ring. The collar is adjustable.

We carry the collars in three sizes: extra small, small and medium. Please measure your dog to ensure you get the best fit:

• The extra small collar fits necks up to 25cm and is c1.75cm wide.
• The small collar fits necks 25.5cm to 35.5cm, and is 1.875cm wide. This typically suits a Pug, Jack Russell, Westie or Bichon Frise.
• The medium collar fits necks 30.5cm to 48.5cm, and is 1.875cm wide. This typically fits a Hungarian Visla, Beagle, Cocker Spaniel or Stafford Bull Terrier.

If you need a larger collar, please get in touch. Collars are available in large, which we can get from our supply partner. Similarly, if we don't have the size in the tweed of your choice, get in touch. We may be able to get one from the maker.

The collar is washable. Simply wash it by hand and lay flat to dry. 

It has a Harris Tweed label, which can only be placed on goods made from authentic Harris Tweed, hand-woven by the islanders of the Outer Hebrides. Harris Tweed is the only cloth with a protected governance, governed by an Act of Parliament protected by the Harris Tweed Authority. It is made of 100% pure new wool that is dyed, blended, carded, spun, warped, woven and finished in the Outer Hebrides.
